Sherkin Island Dog Show

Sherkin Island’s fourth Dog Show – taking place on September 19th – will see the West Cork island going barking mad!

Join us for a fun-filled day celebrating our furry friends on the beautiful Sherkin Island. Bring your four-legged companions and show off their talents in various categories, from jazziest mover to fancy dress.

Whether your dog is a pro at tricks or just loves to cuddle, there’s a place for everyone at our show. Enjoy a day of wagging tails, friendly competition, and lots of treats. Don’t miss out on this pawsitively amazing event!

Bring your pooch to the island join us at 1pm on Cow Strand for an afternoon of fur-tastic fun. Then head to the Barking Mad Art Exhibition which will open on the same day in the Sherkin Island Community Hall.

Competitions will take place across 12 categories.
