Bere Island 5 Mile Run 2023
The Bere Island 5 mile run is part of Beara Athletic’s Club five mile race series on the Beara Peninsula.
In 2019 the Beara AC 5 Mile Run Race series began giving runners the opportunity to see the best of the Beara peninsula.
A competitive but friendly series, it combines professionally measured and organised races with community spirit and prizes galore! These events are by runners for runners.
The Bere Island leg will take place 4th October 2023. The series also includes 5 mile runs in Allihies, Eyeries and Glengarriff.
Beara AC and the Bere Island community look forward to welcoming athletes from county and country to compete alongside our homegrown athletes in this scenic road race.
