Develop your vocal skills with a professional voice coach on West Cork’s Sherkin Island
Learn how to sing with freedom and confidence during Sherkin Island’s fifth annual Vocal Workshop with Brian O’Donnell. Brian hails from Rochester, New York and is a professional singer who has performed on Broadway. He is also a voice teacher and music director.
This week of workshops is specifically for adults 18 and over who have taken part in one of Brian’s vocal workshops before, or have other prior experience (A beginners’ workshop is also on offer). Topics covered include breath, discovering your maximum resonance, singing with emotion, and lyric interpretation. Every morning there will be a group session from 10:00-12:00 and every afternoon individual instruction from 13:00-16:00. The entire experience will culminate in a public concert.

What do I need to bring?
Participants should bring sheet music of two solo compositions they would like to work on for the week.
