Do the Do Run Run on Sherkin Island on August 20th 2022!

There will be 3k and 8k routes available, and the Do Run Run route will cover a combination of roads, off-road terrain, and beaches. People can run, jog or walk, taking in some spectacular island views along the way! This is a non-competitive event with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment.
The event will start and finish at the Islander’s Rest Hotel which is only a short walk from the pier. There will be a bag drop facility at the hotel and changing facilities if required. There will be a party on the lawn in the Islander’s Rest directly after the event including live music.
We will have a common start at 14:45 with two courses to choose from. The two routes meet up for the last 2kms if you want to rejoin other family members.
This event, run in conjunction with the Cork Sports Partnership, is part of the West Cork Islands Run Series 2022. Pre-register online to claim your event t-shirt on the day!

Discounted return ferry from Baltimore 10 euro per adult and 3 euro per child U16. The event will start at 2.45pm so ferry to suit would be 12.00noon or 2.00pm. You must have an event number to avail of the discount and retain it for your return journey.
