Be part of Cape Clear’s Island Bioblitz this June!
BioBlitz is bringing experts and members of the public together in a race to see which island can record the most species of wildlife over a 24-hour period in June. It is a novel way to engage people in understanding the importance of biological diversity and conservation. It is intended to celebrate what is special about Ireland’s natural heritage, and it’s the centre of a programme of events centred on our islands’ fantastic natural heritage.
There will be Base Camps established on Cape Clear and Bere Island, and you’re welcome to come along to the Base Camps on the 11-12 June to register, and to participate in the programme of events.
