Cape Clear Cottages offer three self-catering homes situated on the most southerly island of Ireland – Cape Clear, County Cork.
Open from March until October. Each cottage is three bedroomed – two twin rooms and one double en suite.Cape Clear Cottages are four self-catering units situated on the most southerly island of Ireland. Built between 1992 and 1994 each cottage is three bedroomed and can sleep 6/7 persons. Upstairs the main double bedroom is en suite. The other two rooms are twin bedded and the main bathroom upstairs is a shower room.
Downstairs is open plan design lounge, dining, kitchen with a real fire, electric heating, washer and drier, dishwasher and microwave. Electricity is charged per meter reading. Coal for the open fire is included.
Cots are also provided on request. Unfortunately for pet lovers Cape Clear Cottages have a strictly no dogs policy. Cape Clear Cottages are an ideal location for a chill out holiday in an unspoilt rural get away.
Cape Clear has hill walks of varying degrees of difficulty to suit all ages and abilities. The location is a perfect spot for bird watching and sea watching. The island has a well-stocked shop, a bar that does food and drink all through the year, an all year ferry service from Baltimore and an occasional speciality Thai restaurant, details available from Cotters Bar on the island.
