Experience the subtle energetic anatomy and discover its practical relevance for your daily life. Asana, pranayama, meditation, mudras, chanting, and yoga nidra. Learn the practical philosophy and pyschology of the anatomy of the chakras, and engage in self-reflection about what they mean for you personally.
Fully residaential, includes all meals and ferry.
6pm friday evening to 4pm Sunday afternoon.
Friday: 6pm arrivals, 6.45pm dinner, 8-9.30pm gentle evening practice and nidra.
Saturday: 7.30-9am asana and pranayama. 9-10.30 breakfast. 10.30-12.30 anatomy and psychology of the chakras and chakra meditation. 1-4.30 lunch and personal time. 4.45-6pm discussion and nidra. 6.30-8pm dinner. 8-9.30 gentle evening practice and nidra.
Sunday: 7.30-9am asana and pranayama. 9-10.30 breakfast. 10.30-12.30 anatomy and psychology of the chakras and chakra meditation. 12.45-2 lunch. 2-3.30pm nidraand closing circle.
About Claire Osborne
A yoga and movement practitioner since 1993, Claire has been teaching these disciplines full time since 2001. Her teaching approach is passionate, creative, enquiring and light-hearted.
Location and Accommodation:
Heir Island is a beautiful spot just off the coast of west Cork. It has 7 beaches, majestic cliffs and only 25 year-round residents.
Retreaters will stay at the gorgeous Roaringwater Lodge Guest House, at part of Heir Island Sailing School. Accommodation is based on twin/double sharing with some private rooms. All rooms are en-suite. Delicious vegetarian meals are included.
Yoga classes will be held in the stunning, purpose-built Heir Island Retreat which is just a two-minute lazy walk from the guest house. The centre has a beautiful studio overlooking the bay and a chill out room, therapy room, kitchenette and bathroom.
