Bere Island Midsummer Run 2013
The Bere Island Mid Summer Run is a 5 and a 10 K road race and a 5K walk around the scenic roads of Bere Island, with views stretching from Whiddy Island to the USA.
The course is AAI licensed and measured with a Jones counter. This is the second Bere Island run. The entry fee is €20 for both the 5 & 10 K run (€5 for 10 to 14 year olds for the 5K run). Please note the race is not individually timed.
There will be after race entertainment etc. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd, for Male & Female in both categories and also some senior categories. Entry for the walk can also be taken on the day and special deals are available for families.
